After you contact me about a project, we will set up a time to talk about the details of your case, what kind of services I can provide, your deadline, and my budget estimate. In most cases, a deposit of 50% of the budget estimate will be due before I begin work. My goal is to have a collaborative relationship with my clients, and I will reach out to you with any questions that arise during the process.
My services include but are not limited to: researching issues and sending you a list of cases that support a legal argument you wish to make; writing a detailed memorandum summarizing the status of the law in a particular area; and crafting signature-ready motions and appellate briefs.
Whatever your legal research & writing needs are, I can help!
No. I do not work with non-attorneys or pro se clients, and I will not interact with your clients. Any materials I provide to you are for your use only and do not establish any relationship between Craig Legal Research & Writing and your client(s). Craig Legal Research & Writing is not a law practice.
Yes. I am a licensed Texas attorney, and most of my work has involved state and federal cases in Texas. However, I am confident that my research and writing skills translate across state lines, and I will gladly provide services to practitioners in other states.
I have spent the majority of my career researching, analyzing, and writing about complex legal issues. I'm good at it, and I enjoy it! Thorough legal research and writing can be very time-consuming; allow me to do this work for you so you can focus on other aspects of your practice.
